HP unveiled its latest HP EliteBook 800 series, HP ZBook 14u and HP ZBook 15u commercial devices, designed mainly for the ‘on-the-go modern workforce.’

The newly announced devices are powered by Windows 10 and light up some of its best features, which includes the digital personal assistant Cortana, cameras, optional fingerprint readers that light up Windows Hello for a faster and more secure login. Along with this, the Windows Ink feature for marking up WebPages on your touch screen in Microsoft Edge, comprehensive protection with Defender and many more features are part of these newly unveiled devices.

The new devices also feature new chiselled linear wedges profiles and anodized aluminium covers, making the device sleeker and stronger. The EliteBook 800 series comes with an ultra-bright display which automatically adapts to changing light conditions. These features are also available in ZBook 14u/15u.

The EliteBook 800 series and the ZBook 14u/15u has been designed so as to pass the MIL-STD-810G testing, so as to ensure durability and easier serviceable compared to the previous generations The ZBook 14u/15u.

Microsoft in its official blog states,

“The ZBook 14u/15u have industry-leading durability in a thin and light 14 and 15-inch form factor, as they undergo two additional MIL-STD 810G tests for bench handling and crash hazard shock for unpredictable conditions in technical environments. All the devices in this lineup are ENERGY STAR certified and EPEAT Gold registered.”

The EliteBook 800 series and ZBook 14u/15u comes with a world-facing, noise – cancelling microphone, which removes all kind of unwanted sounds when you put it on individual mode or enhances for 360-degree voice pick-up when put on conference mode. Both the devices come with the HP Premium Collaboration Keyboard, which features built-in collaboration keys for easy management of calls at the touch of a button. Both the devices also include HP PhoneWise, a Windows solution so as to text and call from the PC across Android and iOS devices.

The HP EliteBook 800 series

The HP EliteBook 800 series features the 8th generation Intel Core vPro processor. It comes with a 14 hours battery life allowing you to work, even while you are on the go. It comes with HP Fast Charge that charges 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes.

The HP EliteBook 830 G5 now replaces the previous HP EliteBook 820 G4 with a 13” screen in a 12” notebook profile; the HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14-inch business notebook with 8th generation Intel Core processors and discrete graphics. Both the EliteBook 840 and the HP EliteBook 850 G5 are business notebooks comes with AMD Radeon RX540 discrete graphics.

The HP ZBook 14u/15u

The HP ZBook 14u/15u are mobile workstations with an integrated privacy screen, 8th generation Intel Core Quad Core Processors with vPro technology and AMD Radeon Pro graphics for a much faster and more reliable performance, with more than 24 ISV certifications for CAD and design work, along with other professional applications.
