Alongside the new Kaby Lake processor series, Intel is releasing Series 200 chipsets. The new H270 and Z270 motherboards have appeared in photographs online, leaked by Super Micro. The website now has the images on display, which include models C7Z270-PG, C7Z270-CG, C7Z270-CG-L, and C7H270-CG-ML.
These new Series 200 chipsets have been codenamed Union Point for some time, and so far, we know that they will support new Intel Optane solid state drives, as well as the Rapid Storage Technology system for PCIe storage equipment.
New desktop processors being released, which are based on Kaby Lake, will use LGA 1151.
