At Microsoft Ignite in Orlando, the company has gone on to announce its next perpetual update for Office – ‘Office 2019.’
This release has been scheduled for the second half of 2018, and Microsoft has stated that it will include the perpetual versions of the Office apps, which will go on to include Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Microsoft servers will also be included – Exchange, SharePoint and Skype for Business. However, the previews of the new products will start shipping by mid of next year – 2018.
In the latest version of Office 2019 will include new user and IT capabilities for customers who are not yet ready to use cloud. The company goes on to give us an example, for the better understanding of the upcoming Office 2019. It informs that the new Office 2019, will allow you new and improved inking features, such as pressure sensitivity, tilt effects and ink replay, which will allow the users to work more naturally an efficiently.
There will be new formulas and charts which will go on to make data analysis for Excel more powerful. Visual animation features, such as Morph and Zoom will go on to add polish to PowerPoint presentations. The server enhancements will go on to include updates to IT manageability, usability voice and security.
Microsoft at Ignite announced the Cloud – powered innovation to be the major theme.

Office 2019 will be a valuable upgrade for customers who feel that they need to keep some or all of their apps and servers on-premises, and we look forward to sharing more details about the release in the coming months.”
