Samsung has currently launched a new camera known as ‘The 360 Round.’ It is equipped with 17 lenses, shoots 360-degree footage, just like its name suggest. It is also equipped with eight stereo pairs that have been positioned horizontally and only one lens which is positioned vertically. The camera and the lens are dust and water resistance, which is perfect for outdoor shooting and live –streaming.

Samsung takes pride in announcing that the camera does not require a fan for cooling, which means that it is lighter and quieter compared to the other cameras. This camera frames the images together so as to create a virtual environment, through included PC software. The 360 degree round camera will be made available for purchasing sometimes in October itself; however, the company has yet not announced its price.

Samsung states,

“The Gear 360 has evolved to let you record in 4K or broadcast live, and then make it your own with the Samsung Gear 360 app. And with the Gear 360’s smaller size and redesigned, easy-to-grip body, memories aren’t the only thing you’ll want to hold onto.”
